An enthralling ‘Pre-Derby Party’ and the ‘Starting Stall Draw’, last night at ITC Windsor Manor set the stage right for the big day on Sunday. Bangaloreans were seen guzzling beer and dancing away to kick start the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Kingfisher Derby 2012.
The evening saw the ‘Starting Stall Draw’ roll with enthusiasm in the presence of the charismatic Bollywood diva & Kingfisher Calendar Girl Nargis Fakhri, as she set the pulses racing while drawing out names of horses for the race on Sunday. The draw of the lots determines the position & the lane of the horses for the race and was well attended by the owners, trainers & jockeys.
Following the ‘Starting Stall Draw’ was the ‘Pre-Derby Party’ where Bangaloreans were treated to some great music by renowned playback singer Lucky Ali and captivating acts by a group named Quickchange. The party spirits soared further as BoHo chic ladies engaged in delightful conversations in the company of Kingfisher Premium. Fashionistas were seen ringing in the Good Times at the Kingfisher Pre-Derby Party.
