Max, India’s leading value fashion brand and the official fashion partner of Femina Miss India unveiled new styles in ‘Runway’ – their line of high fashion for the modern, chic young woman, in a glitzy fashion show at Phoenix Market City, Whitefield. The collection has been created specially by the Max design house to mark their collaboration with Miss India in its golden jubilee as the official fashion partner. The glamorous showstoppers of the evening, the Femina Miss India 2013 winners – Navneet Kaur Dhillon (Pond’s Femina Miss India World 2013), Sobitha Dhulipala (Pond’s Femina Miss India Earth 2013) and Zoya Afroz (Pond’s Femina Miss India International 2013) walked the ramp in the key designs of the collection.
Inspired by the latest trends on the international ramps, the ‘Runway’ collection features 40 chic dress styles which will be available in Max stores across the country. The silhouettes follow fit-n-flare, body con and sheath shapes while the details include laser cuts, shoulder emphasis through diamonte, collar highlights and monochromatic patterns in desirable styles that easily transition from summer to fall. The Summer 2013 collection was also showcased, featuring a kaleidoscope of colours and the classics of the season.
Mr. C.S. Shekhar, Vice President, Retail Operations, Max commented on the occasion, “Our association with Femina Miss India reinforces our endeavor to ‘Democratize fashion’ and foster talent. Through this partnership, we have added a new dimension of style in our design philosophy and have reached out to a new level of aspirational consumers. We are certain the entire range will be well received.”
