Govind Kumar Singh Wins Let’s Design Season – 3

Govind Kumar Singh from Bihar has won the title of the top upcoming Indian fashion designer 2011 by Cotton Council International (CCI). This young talent is a graduate from NIFT, Bangalore. Presently he is working with women’s wear design team in Madura Fashion & Lifestyle.

Govind said that he had participated in let’s design season – 1 and had won the best pre’t designer award. So this was the second time he participated and won the best title ever.

There are people who think that designing is not a guy’s cup of tea. But Govind says that it is a wrong perception, a guy can think better compared to girls in terms of design, fit, proportion etc especially for women’s wear, presently there are so many successful male designers in India

Ms. Agnieszka Fijol, Cotton Council International Representation (Program Head – India), said, “With Let’s Design we believe in eliciting the latent talent of aspiring young designers across the nation and highlighting the fashion potential of cotton”.

With let’s design, CCI and Zoom TV are providing the best platform for young and upcoming designers to make a mark in their career. They are taking Indian fashion to greater heights.
