Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, also known as India Fashion Week is a fashion show held annually in New Delhi featuring the collections of India’s top fashion designers. Wills Lifestyle is an apparel chain owned by ITC Limited and the brand currently has 50 Wills Lifestyle stores in 30 cities across the country. The Autumn Winter Collection includes finely woven fabrics in vibrant colours and luxurious textures and includes exotic ensembles by leading designers like Rohit Bal, Ritu Beri, Tarun Tahiliani, Wendell Rodricks and Anamika Khanna.
This year’s new comer Sanjana Jon, the sister of celebrity Indian American fashion designer Anand Jon made her debut at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2009 with the celebrity siblings including Salman Khan-Sohail Khan, Sushmita Sen-Rajiv Sen, Riya Sen-Raima Sen, boxing champion Vijender Singh and his brother, music composer Sajid-Wajid, Amaan Ali Khan-Ayaan Ali Khan walking the ramp for her collections.
Actress Urmila Matondkar set the ramp on fire in a traditional Indian attire designed by designer Jaya Rathore. Actor Abhay Deol dressed in denim with a black waistcoat and a black hat walked the ramp for Ritu Beri. However, the show stoppers of the event were Ranbir Kapoor & Katrina Kaif who walked the ramp for fashion designer Rohit Bal.
