He laid the foundations for his artistic career twelve years ago when he trained as a hair stylist with the prestigious city Munich salon Visage. In order to dedicate his artistic ideas completely to beauty, he decided to train to become a professional make-up artist.
The degree of determination and passion with which he pursued this goal is reflected in the fact that he worked for a Munich bank for three years, trading securities on the international exchanges, to finance the training for his dream profession. In 2000, he moved to Berlin to continue his training with the professional make-up artist Beni Durrer.
In his constant desire to develop further and to perfect his technique and expertise, Diego then worked for five years for the world-famous professional brand M.A.C. in Berlin and Munich, where he was trained every three months in the latest techniques and trends in the make-up sector by trainers working throughout the globe.
Diego is known for his unusual feeling for colour and his desire for absolute perfection; with him, an absolutely inexhaustible source of inspiration and creativity turns every make-up concept into a work of art. This helped him to quickly take on responsibility as Head of Make Up for look books and photo shoots, such as those for Rena Lange and Susanne Wiebe.
This success was quickly followed by many shows, such as the New Faces Award and Designerama, where he worked with famous personalities such as Bruce Darnell and Eva Padberg. He worked, for example, on Fashion week in Berlin, where he refined his make-up designs in collaboration with Boris Entrup’s team. Because of his vast range of experience and love of his profession, for Diego Schober, the obvious next step in his development was to accept the offer to become a professional make-up artist with Make Up Factory.
Diego is totally committed to the Make Up Factory products. He always applies his extraordinary talents as a make-up artist with the same intensity, whether a top model or “the girl next door” is sitting in his chair.
