With the accolades season at its brim, Bollywood had all the reasons to bask in the glory of celebration when the 57th annual Film Fare awards were announced for the best performances of the year.

In order to commemorate the occasion, a hoard of stars was present at the do.

The event witnesses the hottest upcoming faces, the legends, relishing the nostalgia and of course the current performers who squeezed the lady to their heart with overwhelming giggles and teary eyes.

The entire swish set dressed in enticing nine yards or serenading gowns and tuxedos enjoyed the event that had some brilliant performances and of course humour laden hosts who kept the audience in a lighter mood all through the evening.

The felicitated actors included the powerhouse performer Vidya Balan who won accolades for her performance as sultry Silk in the raunchy Dirty Picture and Ranbir Kapoor who managed to sway the audience with is excellent performance in the box office blockbuster Rockstar.

Actor –director Farhan Akhtar and his sister Zoya Akhtar also bagged awards for their movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

The other movies to score among he audience were the hilariously entertaining Delhi Belly that had a clear cut 11 nominations.

The lovely ladies who serenaded the red carpet included the eternal beauty Madhuri Dixit who was dressed in her elegant best and was accompanied by her non-filmi husband.

Karishma Kapoor who looked absolutely stunning in a white shimmer sari also rendered a gig performance alongside sister Kareena, Vidya Balan and the ever gracious Rekha.

The hot stomper Bipasha Basu exemplifying sensuality with her gold tone dress was also present at the event besides the southern siren Asin who was all smiles for shutterbugs.

The event also witnessed the charming Katrina Kaif who looked at ease with herself in an earthy glitter dress and the beautiful Sonali Bendre in a clandestine avatar with a sari.

The celebrity bandwagon never misses a chance to pose for the shutterbugs, especially when they are dressed in their sartorial best for the enthralling red carpet events. The evening of January 29 witnessed another magnificent do at the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2012.

The event that felicitated the outstanding performances across the entertainment industry (film and television) saw a hoard of known faces that were dresses in serenading outfits that left many a jaws opened and gasping for breath.

Keeping in sync with the trends of the upcoming spring summer, the celebrities played it loud and vibrant with a riot of colours. The style brigade came dressed in vibrant monochromatic colours in loud shades such as indigo, the fiery fuchsia and the very passionate purple.

Red seemed to be dominating the style scene for the hotties like Michelle Williams and Giuliana Rancic were spotted in the sensuous shade with all its fervour.

The trend for nude shades is absolutely eternal with the who’s who of the fashion circuit dressing in larger than life patterns in the tones of nudes coupled with shimmer and bling, which makes it perfect for special occasions.

Pretty ladies, Le Michele, Kelly Osbourne and Sarah Hyland were flaunting their nude gowns in shades of white beige and fawn with swanning tails to entice.

The leading lady of  Hollywood, the gorgeous Angelina Jolie strutted a black dapper number with shimmer and kept it minimalistic yet elegant whereas Natalie Portman looked stunning in a brownish red single shoulder gown that beautifully graced her divine curves.

Famous actor Glenn Close, captured the attention with her enchanting indigo coloured gown with net details that was absolutely alluring.

The event was a totally star studded affair, with Bollywood bigwigs making merry over cocktails and dancing away the evening to glory.

Priyanka Chopra, the leading lady of the movie looked stunning in a black body hugging number whereas the superstar himself ( Hrithik Roshan) was dressed to kill with his killer attitude and casual attire.

Sanjay Dutt was sported being his ethereal self with graceful handshakes and smiles for the shutterbugs. Producer Director Karan Johar was also present alongside the cast and was happily enjoying the occasion.

The lovely Gauri Khan was seen making most of the evening with Hrithik who also tweeted on a micro blogging site “With the most beautiful and n talented girl in the world!! And the hottest if I may add Gauri Khan!! Watch out world, she’s about to arrive!!”
