Brighter and Healthier Days with Breakfast

Most of us neglect the importance of a healthy breakfast owing to our gruelling daily routines and pressures from the personal and professional lives, pushing it off to lunch or a bit of indulgence in our favourite snacks. However, nutritionists all over the world maintain that a healthy and filling breakfast is the key to great metabolism and weight maintenance.

A breakfast meal that includes high amounts of protein, vitamins and fibres ensures that the body gets its shares of essential nutrients and hence derives enough energy to start the day with ample concentration. Breakfast cereals are also known to reduce the cholesterol levels and balance the blood sugar count by minimising the carbohydrate craving. Skipping the very first meal of the day can result in hunger pangs and untimely binging on sugar laden food items that lead to fat accumulation and a depletion in energy.

Health experts claim that a breakfast inclusive of eggs, skimmed milk, and sugarless cereal such as oats, cornflakes, muesli, fresh fruits and brown bread can be an instant energy booster. So ring in the alarm a little early and ensure that you make the most of your day by eating a wholesome breakfast.
