Amrapali the synonym of beauty, culture and art showcased their high – end museum pieces in the Best of India Jewellery Show, held in Bangalore from 15th to 18th of April 2011.
The founders of Amrapali, Mr. Rajesh Ajmera and Mr. Rajiv Arora said, “These pieces are museum inspired. We have used 22 Carat gold, along with different types of diamonds.” They also added that they blend the true Indian culture in their jewellery pieces keeping the unconventional designs in mind.
The museum pieces, those were showcased in Bangalore took about 6 months to complete. While making these designs they kept the Beautiful South Indian women in mind. They used Emeralds, Rubies, Pearls, white and fancy diamonds in every piece.
Holding on to the heart of Indians, Amrapali used tanzanite, instead of Blue Sapphire. Because they said that people in India is superstitious about wearing blue sapphire, so tanzanite serves the same purpose like blue sapphire.
Milestones in the record of Amraplai are many. They have made both Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities look stunning with their piece of art. Hollywood celebs include Beyonce, Shakira, Megan Fox, Angelina Jolie etc. Maduri Dixit, Vidya Balan, Pooja Bhatt, Sharmila Tagore etc fills the Bollywood celebs list.
